Mr. Ngawang Wangchhu Sherpa
President
Ngawang Wangchhu Sherpa born in Cheplung village of Solukhumbu, Nepal. He has summitted Mt. Everest five times as well as many 8,000-meter peaks in the Himalayan region. He served on the board of directors of Farak Sherpa Keyduk and has been involved in many community organizations. His reputation and genuine personality are highly admirable. He holds extensive leadership knowledge and is dedicated to supporting the community. He has received outstanding achievements throughout his mountaineering career and is well-known and respected in the Sherpa community as well as many other communities. The Sherpa Association of Colorado is proud to have his leadership.
Mr. Sonam Sherpa
Vice President
Sonam Sherpa is from the Sindhupalchok district of Nepal. He studied ancient Tibetan Buddhist philosophy and practices from a young age and has continuously practiced Buddhist rituals and traditions in his daily life. He has excellent knowledge and understanding of Buddhist philosophy and ritual practices and enjoys sharing this valuable knowledge with others. Mr. Sherpa also served in the Colorado Buddhist Association and helped to organize (Buddha Jayayti) each year in Colorado. He also serves on a board of directors for the Thupten Kunpheling Association. Mr. Sonam Sherpa is a kind, companionate person who genuinely serves the community. He is well respected in Sherpa and many other communities.
Mr. Lhakpa Sherpa
Treasurer
Mr.Lhakpa Sherpa born in Kurima village of Solukhumbu, Nepal. He served in the Nepal Military as a Major for 32 years of service, leading many peace missions in Southeast Asian countries. He also is involved in many road construction projects in remote regions of Nepal. Mr. Lhakpa Sherpa has also led numerous humanitarian missions for those who were faced with natural disasters in Nepal. Currently he is a successful entrepreneur and is living with his beautiful family in Longmont, Colorado. Lhakpa Sherpa highly values dignity and ethics.
Mr. Nima Wangchhu Sherpa

Mr. Nima Wangchhu Sherpa is from Dolakha district of Nepal. Mr. Sherpa served as board director for the Nonresident of Nepalese Association in the U.S. since 2023, and he was elected board member for NCC 2023-2025. He was also elected board member for the Nonresident Nepalese Association Colorado Chapter from 2021- 2023. He bolsters extensive knowledge and reputation, serving many years in community organizations. Mr. Sherpa has a genuine personality and excellent moral character and truly believes in serving the community.
Mr. Pasang Sherpa
Secretary
Mr. Pasang Sherpa is from Taksindu, Solukhumbu district of Nepal. Mr. Sherpa comes from a family who devoted their life to community service. Mr. Sherpa has been involved in many community service work projects from a young age. Mr. Sherpa has been living in Colorado with his family since 2001. Mr. Sherpa is a very knowledgeable, trustworthy person and has great experince to serve the community.
Mr. Nima Karma Sherpa

Nima Karma Sherpa born in Phortse village of Solukhumbu, Nepal. He has simmitted to Mt. Everest seven times and many 8,000-meter peaks in the Himalayan region. He has received outstanding achievements throughout his mountaineering career and is well-known and respected in many communities. Mr. Sherpa has excellent Sherpa cultural knowledge and connections. He enjoys sharing the Sherpa Culture with others and believes in community service. Mr. Sherpa is a very kind and humble person.
